Manage the Partner’s calendar, scheduling client meetings, court dates, and internal briefings

Coordinate national and international travel, including multi-stop itineraries and last-minute changes

Prepare and edit legal documents, presentations, and confidential correspondence

Serve as a liaison between the Partner, clients, internal teams, and firm leadership

Track billable hours, prepare time entries, and ensure compliance with internal processes

Handle inbox management, document filing, and follow-up across active cases and mandates

7+ years’ experience supporting senior legal professionals or Partners within a law firm

Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and law firm culture

Exceptionally organised, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal oversight

Polished communicator with excellent judgement and client-facing skills

Chicago-based, with full-time in-office availability

Tech-savvy, discreet, and capable of juggling multiple priorities without dropping the ball

Serve as the primary point of coordination for the Chair’s internal and external affairs

Manage a dynamic calendar of global client engagements, board meetings, and firm-wide leadership activities

Prepare agendas, board packs, and briefing materials for senior meetings

Liaise with ExCo members, practice group leaders, and client teams to drive execution

Track follow-ups, priorities, and key deliverables across the Chair’s portfolio

Handle sensitive information and client interactions with impeccable discretion and professionalism

10+ years’ experience supporting senior legal, financial, or professional services leadership

Experience within a top law firm or private equity/financial services environment is strongly preferred

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Able to work at pace and navigate high-pressure, high-stakes environments

Politically astute, highly discreet, and naturally collaborative

New York-based with full in-office availability
